OF THE ATLANTIC AND THE MEDITERRANEAN
It is made with tempranillo grapes from 3 small plots set in the same place (Los Altos), which due to its orographic, soil and expression qualities of the variety, we consider that they are the ideal ones to express the terroir of our Alcanadre village through this variety.
It remains 25 days between maceration of the skins with the must and alcoholic fermentation with soft and frequent overtakes. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak of extra fine grain and light toasted to respect the fruit. Frequent batonages to keep fine lees in suspension. 18 months aging in barrel .
Wine of high layer, of deep ruby color. The nose is fine and elegant with aromas of black, spicy and smoked fruits. In the mouth it is round with intense black fruit flavors and silky tannins. It is complex and very expressive. It has a long finish and a marked mineral character. Br> This is an elegant and special wine so it is only made in excellent vintages.
